It was a huge 4 day on the road deluxe package to the nether regions of New Zealand. Starting at the Badger for an impromtu jam-night, unfortunantly we were some of the select few to know about this, but we still had a good time doing a lot of songs we hadn't done for a while. Then it was off to Tokoroa, where surprisingly we had a great night, thanks to the Eisenhut family for their fantastic hospitality. Now we head off to Gisborne for a knockout gig at the Kingfisher Bar, Mal and I love this gig and hopefully it stays this good. Last but not least....the mighty NZEF Club......say no more....see ya

Never say never, here we are back at the Plains Hotel Edgecumbe. The vibe is good and great to see some of the same characters there still. The Mayor snuck away before the end having had a few too many, all in all it was good to be back. Up to Drury where the weather was hideous, so it was a wonder anyone came out at all, but the band played well and the people enjoyed it. On to Matamata where we did a 21st for Tash, it started a bit slow but soon got out of control as you would expect, in the end a great gig it was.......see ya

Well it was feast or famine this weekend. Waiuku started us off with a good steady night, great to see some new faces there and it looks like it's picking up. The place looks fantastic after a huge spruce up by Jimmy. On to Reporoa, where you couldn't meet a nicer couple who own the the place, Jan and Ian. Their hospitality is second to none and it's a shame the locals didn't support their efforts to put on entertainment this night, the people that were there had a great time as did we. Now the feast, Scallop Fest in Whitianga, wow what a night, from start to finish it was a huge night, the crowd was there to have a good time and they did, the whole place runs like clockwork and we have to thank Chocky the Manager for that.....see ya
